About
I'm Uchi Uchibeke
Engineer, Open-source Developer, and Community-builder turned Founder and CEO. Now building and growing Chimoney.
My personal mission is to make things that enable people to learn, build, earn, and spend.
I am passionate about financial inclusion, innovation, and empowering young Africans. I created NaijaHacks, an annual hackathon event in Nigeria, in 2018 to bring together developers, designers, and entrepreneurs to collaborate, learn, and create innovative solutions to various problems. I also founded AfricaHacks, an organization that organizes various programs, events, and hackathons to empower African youth and develop the African tech ecosystem.
I am also the founder and CEO of Chimoney, a network of Payment networks designed to simplify and improve the management of digital currencies and tokens for businesses, events, and communities.
